The Bureau County Animal
Control Department is coordinated by the Animal Control Committee
which meets the first Tuesday of every month.
Dr. Mark Maxwell is the Animal
Control Administrator and is an Illinois licensed veterinarian. The
Animal Control Administrator's duties include:

Scott Robbins is the Animal
Control Warden. The Animal Control Warden's duties include:

Investigate quarantines as requested by the Animal Control
Committee, Administrator, or Secretary. |

To
apprehend humanely stray dogs as requested by the Animal
Control Committee, Administrator, or Secretary. |

3. |
To see
that dogs apprehended are properly impounded . |
| |
4. |
To see
that notices are properly placed and advertise such
impoundment. |
| |
5. |
To check
on rabies vaccination and registration of dogs as requested
by the Animal Control Committee, Administrator, or
Secretary. |
